Bordoni Sport - The Story
The Story

Patricia Slapp is the creative dynamo behind Bordoni Sport. A highly successful athlete in her youth, working in the fitness industry was a natural progression and in 2002 she moved to London to pursue her dreams. In a very short space of time she stormed to the top of the fitness industry and was selected to be a National Trainer and Presenter for Les Mills UK, a role that she held for 12 years until her recent return to Australia in 2014.

Whilst presenting at huge fitness events and training instructors all over the UK, Patricia noted a significant style gap between the fitness and fashion industries and her teenage dream of owning her own sportswear brand quickly became a reality.

But the original muse for Bordoni Sport and where it got it's name was her grandmother, who taught her to sew when she was a little girl.

Bordoni Sport was launched in 2006 and two years later, on a whim, Patricia applied and was accepted to the very prestigious Cordwainer's London College of Fashion, where she studied Fashion Accessory Design.

Using the tools of her trade, learnt during her time in London, beautiful, hand crafted leather sports bags are on the agenda for Bordoni Sport. And just like the clothing range, each piece will be created with meticulous attention to detail using hand selected, limited edition, exquisite leathers that bridge the gap between fashion and fitness.
